Guide: Enabling ADB via Quick Share

This process requires alternating between the Locked Device and a Normal Device.

Phase 1: On the Locked Device

  1. Go to Accessibility.

  2. Open TalkBack.

  3. In the TalkBack settings, open Braille display.

  4. Tap Allow if prompted.

  5. Tap the text: "To use braille display, first turn on TalkBack".

  6. Navigate to Installed apps.

  7. Find and open Live Transcribe.

  8. Tap Only this time if prompted.

  9. Open Network Settings.

  10. Scroll down and open Quick Share.

  11. Tap Who can share with you and select Everyone.

Phase 2: On the Normal Device

  1. Download the SamsungTool APK file.

  2. Open your Files app, locate the downloaded APK, and tap Share.

  3. Select Quick Share as the sharing method.

  4. Find the Locked Device in the list of available devices and tap on it.

Phase 3: Finish on the Locked Device

  1. Press Accept to receive the incoming file.

  2. Once the APK transmission is complete, press Open.

  3. Install and launch the SamsungToolAPK.

  4. Follow the remaining on-screen instructions provided within the SamsungTool app.

Pro Tip: Ensure both devices have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled (and are physically close to each other) to ensure the Quick Share connection is stable.
